Escape to Shenandoah!

We absolutely loved staying here! Very clean, the beds were so comfortable. Our son loved the air hockey table. The downstairs was pretty chilly but that's how we like it so not a problem for us. It was easy to find the property and not too far from town. This was a very last minute trip for us & we were able to book the same hour we were planning to leave with a quick response about check in. We appreciate the accommodation and would like to book again in the fall!

The Airbnb was extremely private and the perfect weekend getaway. The house was well stocked with everything you may need and they even included stuff to make smores. You can tell the hosts went the extra mile to set it up for the best possible guest experience. All of the hosts were extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back.

The house was great, and Bobby was super responsive. The firepit, hot tub, deck, and game room were all wonderful amenities, and the chairs hanging below the deck were super comfortable and a great place to sip coffee and watch bunnies in the morning! The description of the gravel road is LEGIT… possibly the windiest/steepest road I’ve ever been on. But RAV4 handled no problem. Lots of utensils and appliances in the kitchen, too. We mentioned to Bobby that it could use a few more glasses and dishes, and a window covering on the sliding doors because the sun shines in there in the afternoon, and he seemed to appreciate the feedback so hopefully those minor inconveniences will be addressed in the near future. Would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin – it was the perfect peaceful getaway. The home was spotless (especially impressive for a dog-friendly space!) and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thoughtful touches like dog treats and s’mores supplies made it feel just like home. Great communication throughout, and the space was ideal for quality family time. Highly recommend!

Quiet, beautiful setting, fawn showed up as promised, good basecamp for exploring the region, very good kitchen, plenty of space, well maintained. As noted by Andrea, it is important that you are traveling in a vehicle capable of handling a steep gravel road. I specifically rented a car for this purpose (since my primary vehicle is an electric car that's very heavy and low to the ground) and I was glad that I did that.

We had the best trip! Bobby is so communicative and very thoughtful. Our stay was so clean and cozy. We had such a beautiful and peaceful trip, and couldn’t recommend the retreat more!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and was peaceful. The view was amazing. It takes about half hour to get to a lot of things but is located well if you want to visit luray caverns and Shenandoah National Park and have some privacy. We also visited Jellystone to swim. All the drives were easy roads to drive on. The grocery store and several restaurant were also located in an easy driving distance. Hope to visit the area again and would stay here! The kids enjoyed the theater room, hot tub and fire ring!

Bobby's place was absolutely beautiful! He was so quick to respond to any of my inquiries during the stay. Super comfy beds and the hot tub was great! I highly recommend Bobby's place!

My family & I decided to go on a weekend getaway to a cabin. We came across this home and booked it instantly. It was a very nice peaceful cabin especially for our first time going to a cabin we had so much fun. I would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a cabin getaway.

Me, my husband, 4 month old and dog had a wonderful time here! We did a lot of hiking in Shenandoah national park. We took advantage of the hot tub after a long day on the trails. It was the perfect place for our little family to celebrate Father’s Day! Highly recommend! Responsive host and fantastic amenities!
