For added precaution, we also highly recommend carrying tire chains, even if your vehicle has AWD or 4x4 capabilities Although regular pest control measures are taken, the property's location near the national park and in the woods makes it more likely for insects to find their way inside. The most common insects that may be encountered are flies, stink bugs, and ladybugs. It is important to note that these insects are not harmful, and their presence is merely an annoyance rather than a threat.

- Not parties allowed - Not smoking inside the house of any kind - If the hot tub is used improperly (like not following the posted rules, adding extra chemicals, or putting in anything that doesn't belong), and it needs to be emptied and refilled before the next guest, there will be an additional fee of $250 - up to 2 dogs allowed that need to be previously disclosed and a pet fee for $50 per stay

We loved it here and did not want to leave. The view alone is worth it. We enjoyed just sitting outside reading, the weather was perfect and all you can hear are the birds and the wind. All you need is your clothes and your food, everything else is there. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The movie screen and air hockey table was our go to while indoors. Dans steak house is less than 20 minutes away, our meal was decent and the staff was friendly. We also hiked South River Falls. The hike was pretty but the view from the overlook was a little disappointing and we could not locate the trail to bottom.

The area was beautiful! The hot tub was great, took advantage of that for a nice spring weekend getaway weekend. Kitchen was well equipped so we could practically do everything we needed at the house without having to leave. Beware that the house is on a steep rocky road/driveway, I could see this being a challenge in the winter if you don’t have the right vehicle or winter set up!
