For added precaution, we also highly recommend carrying tire chains, even if your vehicle has AWD or 4x4 capabilities Although regular pest control measures are taken, the property's location near the national park and in the woods makes it more likely for insects to find their way inside. The most common insects that may be encountered are flies, stink bugs, and ladybugs. It is important to note that these insects are not harmful, and their presence is merely an annoyance rather than a threat.

- Not parties allowed - Not smoking inside the house of any kind - If the hot tub is used improperly (like not following the posted rules, adding extra chemicals, or putting in anything that doesn't belong), and it needs to be emptied and refilled before the next guest, there will be an additional fee of $250 - up to 2 dogs allowed that need to be previously disclosed and a pet fee for $50 per stay

We enjoyed staying at the house and loved the fire pit and hot tub. It was nice to sit on the porch and enjoy the view of the hills in the morning. We saw plenty of deer in the evenings and some fireflies. It is about a 20-30 minute drive to Shenandoah National Park entrance (depending on which one you go to) as the house is located between two of the entrances. The driveway is gravel, but we were able to manage without issues since the weather was nice. There were a few small things when we stayed that we felt could have been better and Andrea was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend checking out this peaceful retreat. It is the perfect getaway for a family or couple.

We felt Andrea was a wonderful host! Very responsive and helpful! The house and surrounding area is gorgeous, and the hot tub is the cherry on top to enjoying your stay! Would absolutely love to stay again.
