Keep doors and windows closed to reduce them indoors. Although regular pest control measures are taken, the property's location near the woods makes it more likely for insects to find their way inside.. It is important to note that these insects are not harmful, and their presence is merely an annoyance rather than a threat.

Jax Getaway is located on a mountain road. While it’s on a flat gravel road, please note that during inclement weather, such as snow or icy conditions, AWD, 4x4 or tire chains are required. For added precaution, we also highly recommend carrying tire chains, even if your vehicle has AWD or 4x4 capabilities

- Dogs allowed, up to 2 dogs per stay with a $50 fee - No parties allowed - No smoking allowed - If the hot tub is used improperly (like not following the posted rules, adding extra chemicals, or putting in anything that doesn't belong), and it needs to be emptied and refilled before the next guest, there will be an additional fee of $250

The place was a perfect location to explore the caverns, national park and hiking trails. Andrea was an incredible host to ensure we had everything we needed and was always quick to respond.

Comfortable stay and conveniently located to explore SNP and surrounding attractions. Approximately 15 mins to park entrance and 10 mins from town of Luray with restaurants, grocery stores, and the caverns. Kids enjoyed the outdoor games and air hockey table in the basement. Host was very responsive and provided clear instructions. Would return!

Hot tub and location were the main draws and lived up to expectations. Everything was great. It’s a cool place to get away for a bit. Would come again.

This place was wonderful. If you have kids this is definitely the place. There’s penalty of games and activities for all. It is quiet and relaxing and not too far from the city( just in case you need to grab something). Ps. There’s also a beautiful pear tree !

Really nice place to stay! It was peaceful and tucked away but really quick to get into town. We enjoyed the downstairs area with the air hockey game and projector to watch movies. It was relaxing to sit on the deck in the mornings and afternoon and we had a few bonfires. The hot tub was nice and the lights that were strung up around the property gave it a nice ambience. Quick 10 min trip into town to get to grocery store, fast food, gas, etc. Luray Caverns is close by to check out as well as both Shenandoah State and National Park. We had a great time!

I had an absolutely amazing stay! The host went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect so welcoming, kind, and attentive to every detail. The space was spotless, beautifully kept, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Communication was fast and easy, and I truly felt cared for the entire time. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
