Escape to Shenandoah!

This place was such a gem nestled in the mountains of the Shenandoahs! Bobby was extremely proactive with communication and reached out to give us details on the house so we could start our planning process early. Upon arrival, the house was very clean and the amenities were just as described! The littlest touch that made us feel welcome were the s'mores fixings and the doggy treats in a jar in the kitchen! The beds were super comfortable; compared to the many other AirBnBs I have stayed in, they top the list for sure. There is a cute fire ring with adirondack chairs and two lovely hammocks to overlook the mountainscape - we were out here with the sun setting every night we were there. There is also an awesome outdoor projector that is covered with a sectional that my daughter LOVED - so much so she asked me to build one for our own backyard! My husband and I commented how we would definitely come back to visit this specific place again - clean, private, and a wonderful host.

We loved it here and did not want to leave. The view alone is worth it. We enjoyed just sitting outside reading, the weather was perfect and all you can hear are the birds and the wind. All you need is your clothes and your food, everything else is there. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The movie screen and air hockey table was our go to while indoors. Dans steak house is less than 20 minutes away, our meal was decent and the staff was friendly. We also hiked South River Falls. The hike was pretty but the view from the overlook was a little disappointing and we could not locate the trail to bottom.
