Welcome to a charming and stylish home designed for relaxation and fun, complete with central air conditioning and heating for year-round comfort. Main Level: Bright, open-plan living room with trendy decor Dining area with beautiful forest views. Fully equipped kitchen for all your culinary needs. Three cozy bedrooms, each furnished with a comfortable queen bed. A dedicated workspace for remote work or planning your adventures. One full bathroom. Lower Level Entertainment Hub: (Please note: This level is accessible only via the exterior deck stairs.) Media room with a projector screen for movie nights. Game area featuring air hockey and a selection of board games. A second full bathroom with a washer and dryer. Outdoor Oasis: Private, illuminated hot tub for soaking under the stars. Cozy fire pit for stories and s'mores. Giant chess set and bocce ball court for friendly competition. Wraparound deck with a charcoal BBQ grill For Families: A Pack 'n Play is available for your convenience.

Other Details to Note

Jax Mountain Getaway is located on a mountain road. While it’s on a flat gravel road, please note that during inclement weather, such as snow or icy conditions, AWD, 4x4 or tire chains are required. For added precaution, we also highly recommend carrying tire chains, even if your vehicle has AWD or 4x4 capabilities - Accessibility: Please note that the lower-level game room and second bathroom are only accessible via the exterior deck stairs. - Security: For your safety and security there's ring door camera facing to driveway. There are no cameras inside the home or private areas. - Connectivity: The cabin is equipped with Pocket WiFi. Please remember that you are in a mountain location, and service can sometimes be intermittent, making it ideal for disconnecting. - Supplies: Please bring your own firewood for the fire pit and charcoal for the grill. Mountain Life: Being nestled in the forest means you may occasionally see harmless local insects. We have regular pest control, but keeping doors and windows closed is the best way to keep them outside.

Guest Access

Guests will have private and exclusive access to the entire home, yard, and all amenities, including the hot tub, game room, and outdoor spaces. Enjoy a completely private experience with self-check-in. The only exception is a small, locked shed on the property used for owner and cleaning supplies, which is not accessible to guests.

Our stay was a a short get away to enjoy the Shenandoah National Park and surrounding areas. Jax Mountain Getaway was relaxing choice for our family. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable l, and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Andrea was a wonderful host! From the very beginning, she was communicative, kind, and very responsive. She made everything easy and smooth, and we truly appreciated how accommodating she was throughout our stay. The home was exactly as described, clean, cozy, and well-maintained. You can tell she really cares about her guests having a great experience. All instructions were clear, and check-in/check-out was simple and stress-free. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable time, and it wouldn’t have been the same without her hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend booking with Andrea! 🌟

Our stay at Jax Mountain was amazing! We took the week just to relax and get away from our busy lives and this place helped with that. We relaxed in hammocks, watched tons of movies in the movie room down stairs. The hot tub was the highlight of my trip and the stars we got to see a few of our nights were breath taking! Andrea is a super sweet and helpful host. we had to last minute bring our pup and she was able to get that all squared away quickly! We will most definitely be back!
